We Preserve the Past
The Steele County Historical Society is home to more than 500,000 objects, documents, and photographs in our collection. Our team of staff and volunteers work endlessly to ensure that these precious pieces of our local history are cared for and preserved for future generations.
Used in research, exhibits, and loaned out to partner institutions, our collection is actively used. The collection is the heart of our society and a piece that we are very proud of how well it is cared for.
