Committee Memberships
SCHS is seeking current organization members to help guide the organization's operations. By joining a committee, you can help plan and implement events and programs, care for the collections, assist with marketing and promotion, financial planning, and building and maintenance. Each committee's responsibilities and meeting schedules vary.

Board of Directors
The Steele County Historical Society welcomes individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors. Board members must be residents of Steele County and be at least 16 years old.
The Society seeks broad representation from communities and townships throughout Steele County.
Archives & Collections Volunteers
The Steele County Historical Society utilizes volunteers to help research, catalog, and maintain our collections.
Interested parties will work closely with our Collections Manager to help
with research requests, inventory, transcribe, and maintain artifacts and records. Training is provided to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.
