Victorian Tea Nov. 21
As the season approaches Christmas, enjoy a pre-holiday tradition with your child or grandchild, niece or nephew by visiting the 152-year old Dunnell House mansion in the Village of Yesteryear for a morning or afternoon Victorian Tea, Saturday, Nov. 21. Learn about what life was like at the holidays before electricity and automobiles changes American lifestyles. Listen to holiday music and the re-telling of Clement C. Moore's Victorian story about A Visit of St. Nicholas. Sit down at small cozily distanced tables to be served a party favor, dainty petit foures and tea or hot chocolate with a take-home holiday craft. Two sessions are offered: 10:30-noon and 2 p.m. -3:30 p.m. Maximum of 20 individuals per session.
Victorian Tea reservations are required as space is limited. Reservations can be made by calling 507-451-1420 or visiting the History Center, 1700 Austin Road, Owatonna. Cost is $20 per adult and child with $10 addition for additional family individuals. Payment may be made to SCHS by cash, check or credit card. Deadline for non-refundable reservations is November 13.
