Children and Family Programming
As the Christmas season approaches, join in a delightful Victorian Tea hosted in the 152-year old Dunnell House mansion in the Village of Yesteryear. Children 5 to 11 years old will be welcomed into the warm parlors of the historic home built by U.S. Congressman Mark Hill Dunnell. Learn about the traditions of the early America holiday before electricity and automobiles. Enjoy the telling of the famous A Visit from St. Nicholas by Clement C. Moore, listen to holiday music and sit down to dine at cozily distanced tables to a delightful Victorian Tea. Parents and grandparents bring your children, children bring your parents and grandparents. Children will receive a holiday craft gift to take home. Cost is $20 per adult & child with $10 each for additional person. Because of pandemic precautions, seating will be limited.
Victorian Tea reservations required by calling 507-451-1420 or in person at the History Center,1700 Austin Road, Owatonna. Payment to SCHS by cash, check or credit card.
